The challenge was to provide accommodation in Bamburgh as breath taking and special as the village itself which recently made the last 4 on a Channel 4 poll of the most beautiful views in Britain. The massive impressive Norman Castles of Bamburgh and Alnwick; the gorgeous endless white sands of Budle Bay;  the mystique and spirituality of Holy Island; the beauty of the Duchess of Northumberland’s new Alnwick Gardens; the lush green Cheviot Hills;  the lovely villages with friendly timeless pubs with real fires and real ales;  the sea which changes every hour to yet another beautiful shade that you have never seen before.

Open the door and we want you to feel that you could be inside a Mayfair hotel or New York apartment.

Inside each cottage is our personal guide designed to give you all the information you need to maximise the joy of your stay.  We list the restaurants worth eating in, the golf courses worth playing, the walks, the pubs and the beaches, the tennis clubs, the riding centres and where to find the best views.

 

Unfortunatly some parts of this website are still under contruction and will be ready very soon. Like the website most of our cottages are undergoing a total makeover to bring them to the standard of what Bamburgh First will soon be famous for. We will have pictures of these stunning cottages to you shortly and they will be ready for you to holiday in from June.
