 We love our dogs

Bamburgh First is one of the only 5 star luxury self catering companies that allow dogs into their properties. We love dogs and believe they should join in the fun too. It would be such a shame for them to miss out on the miles of sandy beaches, acres of fields and tons of various hills and walks. Bamburgh and its surrounding areas are perfect for beach and countryside walks. The beaches here are so vast that there is room for everyone and most of the time you will find that you have the place to yourself. Dogs love nothing more than to run up and down the dunes, stride across the open sand and jump into the waves.

We do ask that your dog is well trained and well behaved. At all times you must clean up after them and look after the area you are in whether you are on the beach or in your cottage. Please respect our cottages, do not let them climb up onto the furniture or beds.

  • Water and food bowls
  • Dog leads
  • Beds and bedding
  • Supply of pet food for the duration of your stay
  • Chews and biscuits
  • Disposal bags and scoops
  • Stairgates for restricted access
  • Dog towels to wipe them down
